A warm and inspiring fireside conversation with Philip Carr-Gomm
(Doors open at 7:00 PM)

For its fifth edition, the Psychedelic Salon offers an intimate encounter with Druidry—the mystical, nature-based tradition rooted in the Celtic lands of Europe. We are guided for the day by Philip Carr-Gomm, psychologist and former Chief of the Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids. Psychedelics often invite us to remember that we are not separate from nature, but part of its great interwoven web. They open us to the subtle intelligence of the earth and the invitation to live in rhythm with the seasons, cycles, and spirit of the world around us. But how do we bring that insight into our everyday lives—and into our healing work? This Salon invites us to reweave our relationship with the natural world, and to explore how the wisdom of Druidry can support and deepen our psychedelic journeys. Together, we will explore how Druidic perspectives on nature, psyche, and spirit can inform personal practice, integration, and the art of living well. Whether you’re a guide, a practitioner, or a seeker of mystical traditions, this gathering offers a space to slow down, listen deeply, and attune to the quiet teachings of the land. Feeling the call for an experiential dive into Druidic practice? Join us for the afternoon workshop. Short on time, but curious to receive a taste of this tradition? You’re warmly welcome at the evening fireside dialogue.

Afternoon Workshop – Stirring the Cauldron

In this experiential afternoon session, Philip Carr-Gomm invites us into the living wisdom of Druidry through storytelling, ritual, and guided reflection. Druidry teaches that the earth itself is sacred, and that aligning ourselves with the cycles of nature can bring clarity, healing, and a sense of belonging—especially when working with expanded states of consciousness. While we often associate psychedelics with indigenous traditions outside Europe, this workshop gently brings us home—to the landscapes, myths, and seasonal rhythms of the land of our corner of the world. We’ll explore how Druidic themes like trees as teachers, the turning wheel of the year, and the sacredness of place can support psychedelic practice. Philip weaves this approach with tools from Psychosynthesis and Rosalind Watts’ ACER model (Accept, Connect, Embody, Restore), offering practical frameworks for preparation, navigation, and integration – either for oneself or for guiding others. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of how to root your practice in earth-based wisdom, and perhaps a few new rituals, questions, or symbols to carry on your path.

What you will learn:

  • How Druidic perspectives on nature, myth, and symbolism can enrich psychedelic practice
  • The role of ritual and seasonal cycles in grounding expanded states of consciousness
  • Ways to reconnect to the sacredness of place, ancestry, and the more-than-human world
  • Practices for inner attunement using imagery, story, and reflective inquiry
  • The value of bringing nature-based frameworks into therapeutic or ceremonial settings
  • Simple rituals and nature-based tools to carry forward into daily life and practice

Evening Session: Fireside Dialogue

As dusk settles over Ruigoord, we gather for an evening of story-rich dialogue. In conversation with psychedelic guide and educator Daan Keiman, Philip Carr-Gomm will explore how Druidry, Psychosynthesis, and contemporary approaches to psychedelic integration can help us move through these times of personal and collective transformation. Druidry speaks of the sacredness of the earth, the healing found in rhythm and ritual, and the power of myth to guide us through life’s thresholds. In this fireside-style conversation, Philip shares his insights and experiences from decades of walking the Druid path—offering perspectives on how we might deepen our own practices by listening to the language of nature and the wisdom woven into the land. The conversation will be followed by an open Q&A, inviting participants to bring their questions, reflections, or simply sit with the resonance of what is shared. This is a space for exchange, inspiration, and quiet integration
